Yeehaw and Namaste! Who knew that those two words would be central in my life in Austin? As a Texas yoga momma, I was SO excited to see Brianna del Castillo’s super awesome collection of yoga tees geared to this niche. I would not have thought that my love of yoga and the groups of women I’ve met have been so prominent in Austin, but we are considered a young, urban city so it probably should not be too surprising that there are many women with children that need to get their OM on!
The Salty Unicorn Brand hails from New Braunfels, Texas and is a unique apparel line that focuses on Moms, Yoga and Texas is proud to announce it’s new line of Texas yoga tanks and tees just in time for the holiday season. The company, which prides itself on crafting unique one-of-a-kind Texas and Mom-centric yoga goodies, is releasing a Texas themed Hamsa design, a simplistic Om Star State motif and a reboot of the classic TexAsana design. Salty Unicorn has been producing shirts for moms since 2016, and after seeing the impact made through the Mamaste: the mom in me honors the mom in you campaign, the company decided to foster that same community connection through another unifier, Texas. LOVE!
“I am so excited to make products that pay tribute to my favorite things, Texas and Yoga”, says Salty Unicorn owner, Brianna del Castillo. “The idea is to build a community through these clothes – much like the one we have created through the Mamaste shirts – and to honor the way in which yoga is taking off in our great state.”

About Salty Unicorn: Salty Unicorn made its debut in 2016 as a yoga apparel brand from the living room of founder, Brianna del Castillo. After the birth of her first child, Brianna experienced the interesting dynamic that existed among mothers. She became passionate about building a community where moms supported one another and honored each other for their different and unique approaches to the world of parenting. It was also a nod to the work that is takes to raise a child and an attempt to recognize that in other mothers she met. Drawing from her love of yoga, she created a unique design and slogan that spoke to unifying moms.
