Gus goes to School (Storytime) (Paperback)

It’s a WHOLE WEEK until Gus starts school…….

Gus is getting ready to start preschool in a week, but his two big sisters started their own elementary school classes a week earlier.  Gus’s big sisters are far too busy nowadays to worry what Gus is up to when he is stuck at home. They’d never guess that he has a school of his very own.  Gus Goes to School focuses on a little boy playing and imagining how this day at school will be. It’s filled with many imaginary classmates, rules, and of course, lots of fun.  When the week is up, Gus is ready for school and has a wonderful time re-counting his first day to his sisters.  This is a great book for children who are starting school for the first time and includes a lot of great information on how a child can prepare through role-playing.  This book is part of the QED Storytime series that introduces young children to the pleasure of reading and sharing stories, and includes supporting notes for parents and teachers.
