Bath Fizzie Making Kit by Kiss Naturals (Family Fun)

Canadian made all-natural DIY craft kits, for creative kids. Locally made, locally produced!

Bob and I have had a secret dream of creating our own line of all natural bath products for kids.  I’ve certainly used and reviewed enough of them over the years to know what we like, but it is easier to purchase our own.  That said, I LOVE the DIY kits by Kiss Naturals that may get us closer to our dream.  If we can learn to make our own through a kit, why not start experimenting on our own?  It was intriguing and our oldest daughter, Brooke, loves to help out with our experiments, so we knew we would at least have fun making our own bath fizzies.  Bath bombs is one of our favorite luxury purchases, too.  In fact, for Brooke’s last birthday she had a little bit of birthday money and guess what she bought?  A lemon-grass scented bath bomb, of course!  We were all very excited to make our own and here is how it went:

The Bath Fizzie Making Kit includes everything you need to make 8 all natural Bath Fizzies.  The kit includes Kiss Naturals “Secret Formula” (ingredients listed below) to create fun bubbly fizzies for your bath.  The fragrances included are derived from natural ingredients and Witch Hazel is also included.  The silicone mold is shaped like little hearts to make bath time fun, tickly, fizzy and you can create the fizzies in colors of either blue or pink.  Let the fun bubble to the surface with their natural Bath Fizzie kit. Mix their all natural “Secret Formula”  with our naturally derived fragrances and soothing Witch Hazel to make fun shaped bath fizzies for tickly, effervescent fun in the bath.

We had so much fun making these very simple Fizzie Bath bombs and the only extra item you need that is not included in the kit is a bowl for mixing.  Please note that this kit can actually make two sets of bath bombs; one that is blue in color and the other that is pink.  The package contains two different little tubes of fragrances to make each one, too.  To start off, you just need to measure out the perfect amount of witch hazel into the measuring cup provided.  Next, you pour in one of the two packages of their “Secret Formula” with either the pink or blue shade.  After that, you mix in your pre-measured witch hazel as well as an entire bottle of one of the two fragrances.  Here’s where the work begins.  You will need to hand mix all the ingredients until it is the texture of ‘wet sand’.  Basically, you want the mixture to form a ball into your hand but you don’t want it to be too wet.  After that, you pour the ingredients into the heart-shaped molds where it will need to dry for at least two hours until it is ready to use in your bath.  Sound easy?  IT IS!  It’s so easy that Bob and I started to discuss how we could start making our very own from scratch!  However, it was so nice and easy to make with Brooke and she was so excited to use her own bath fizzies in her nightly baths.  Well done, Kiss Naturals!  We will definitely use more of their products in the future.  Brooke is really interested in making her own hair chalk next!
