Homeopathy is probably the most controversial of alternative medical therapies, so I always like to do homeopathic remedy reviews with a caveat.  Product labels have not been evaluated by FDA and the products are meant to address energetic blockages that may have an impact on wellness and energetic balance, facilitating the body’s natural ability to bring itself to homeostasis, which may have an impact on health and well-being.  I like to turn to homeopathic remedies as a way to improve my well-being for myself and my children when symptoms are not serious, so this review is from my personal use and my own personal feelings about using alternative therapies.  As always, talk to your doctor before taking and read more on homeopathy to see if it is right for you.

The worst part about a cold or a stuffy head is not being able to BREATHE and both Bob and Brooke seem to continuously battle congestion due to seasonal allergies.  The problem with Austin is, allergy season seems to be year round!  When we don’t breathe with ease and depth, our entire body suffers from lower levels of oxygen and energy.  Shallow breathing lowers the efficiency of all other systems in the body and is directly related to acidic pH.  Children’s Chestal Cold & Cough’s multi-symptom formula remedy is designed to temporarily relieves symptoms of the common cold such as nasal and chest congestion, fitful cough, sneezing, minor sore throat, and runny or stuffy nose.* This dye-free, kid-friendly syrup is recommended for everyone ages 3 and up. It does not cause drowsiness and there are no known interactions with other medications. So far, so good and Bob and I are happy that this homeopathic medication seems to work (and, yes, even though we get our annual flu shot, it doesn’t help with allergies!)  Yay!  We can all get a better night of sleep when no one in the house is hacking all night.  Score!  Remember, Children’s Chestal Cold & Cough works best when taken at the first sign of cold and cough symptoms.
