New York Times bestselling author and artist James Dean brings us a new story about the classiest cat around—Pete!
Yes! It’s a new Pete the Cat book and it’s just in time for ‘back to school’ season. Luckily, I have a ton of great book recommendations for your little ones who are going off to school for the first time or ones that may be hesitant at returning after a fun summer break. If anyone can make anything cool – it’s groovy Pete and Pete’s Got Class in this book!
Pete is excited about his first day at school, and is especially excited when they go over his favorite subject; math. He loves to learn to add and subtract and he’s so excited to use his new skills. There’s only one problem, Pete’s good friend, Tom, says he HATES math. Pete realizes Tom doesn’t HATE math, he just doesn’t LOVE it yet. Pete goes into ‘teacher’ mode and steps with lots of fun learning tools to make learning math fun for Tom. Success! The book features a Pete the Cat poster, stickers, and a set of 20 punch-out flash cards that teach counting, adding, and subtracting. Totally AWESOME!
