See Kai Run is the premier provider of quality-crafted footwear designed to promote healthy foot development in children from the crib to 8 years old.
Best in Fit…This is the See Kai Run story.
In 2004, a Seattle mom named Cause Haun, was on a quest to find a shoe that was best in health and design for her son’s feet. She was looking for fun, sophisticated styles that also promoted healthy foot development; but she didn’t find any, so she something pretty incredible – she created her own shoe line for kids named See Kai Run. By 2007, See Kai Run began selling internationally! Wow. Each year, it seems like See Kai Run has created a new and better footwear design for little feet including their summer sandals in 2016 that have three points of adjustability. See Kai Run is now a dedicated team of footwear makers and designers that carry on Haun’s mission. See Kai Run’s experience and footwear knowledge ensures that every style they produce is fun, fashionable and features the finest in materials and craftsmanship.
See Kai Run Sneakers
My two girls are very hard on their shoes. Brie is in preschool and Brooke will start first grade soon, so sneakers are always the best shoe type that they can wear year-round. What ha impressed me about See Kai Run sneakers is that they are proportionally engineered to a child’s foot. See Kai Run sneakers feature vulcanized construction. Wait, hold up. Vulcanized construction? I may need to take a few seconds to explain since I actually had to look it up myself just for this review.
Vulcanized construction means that the shoes have “vulcanized soles”. That means that the natural rubber used was put through a chemical process (usually by adding sulfur) to get an end result of a pair of shoes with soles that are more resistant to wear and tear. Get it? OK, great.
See Kai Run sneakers also have padded collars and tongues, breathable linings, and removable leather-lined footbeds that give the feet a comfortable fit. The flexible rubber outsoles with herringbone lug pattern provide great traction and the built-in rubber toe cap give the toes extra protection. Basically, if you want a heavy-duty shoe like I need with my kids, then check out See Kai Run!
The most exciting thing about getting a new pair of shoes is that companies have new arrivals each season. So while our kids grow out of their shoes at what seems like an alarmingly fast rate, we can also take advantage of the cool new styles of the season. My girls needed new shoes for the beginning of the school year and since little sister Brie always wants what Brooke has, it was pretty easy to figure out shoes for school this year. Brooke’s favorite sneaker in the new See Kai Run Fall/Winter collection is the Robyne in Gray/Purple. This gray denim sneaker has an adorable polka dot design and it works well with all of the girls’ wardrobe, including Brooke’s uniforms for school. It’s a classic look that never goes out of style. Robyne is available in both toddler and big kid sizes, so I was able to get matching pairs for the girls. YES!
See Kai Run’s Robyne isn’t the only new shoe in the Fall/Winter 2016 collection, so check out their website below to see all of their new arrivals. Bob and I are very impressed with the quality of the Robyne sneakers and the girls love them, too. I asked Brooke why she liked her pair of Robyne shoes and she said they ‘were cute’ and ‘felt good’. Brie just said they were ‘pretty shoes’, but they fact that she keeps them on for the whole day says a lot. Brie is usually the biggest critic in the family, and she’s been known to throw off her shoes if she doesn’t like them (oh so much fun going shoe shopping with her! Ha!). We will definitely be checking out See Kai Run in the future when the girls need a new pair of shoes. I’m hoping we can make these shoes last another six months or more, but the girls seem to continue to grow no matter what I think about the matter. Love!
See Kai Run’s Fall/Winter ’16 line is scheduled to launch on July 15th on seekairun.com!
