It’s the most wonderful time of the year and every Christmas season for the last five years on this blog I am excited to get holiday goodies! This year is even more fun because I get to shop for an entire classroom instead of just for our family and friends. This year, I was able to put together an awesome list of Christmas items for Brooke’s first grade class and it was really awesome and rewarding. I took into consideration what I thought were great crafts and items for kids to be able to take home and use if their families didn’t have extra money to spend on Christmas. I also wanted to add educational items and learning incentives to incorporate into the holiday theme which was possible through the company, Oriental Trading. The budget was approximately $75, so I definitely made the most with that amount and I think I put together a great list of items perfect for the classroom!

My Thoughts: While I am always impressed with the quality and quantity of my Oriental Trading purchases, I was also excited with how fun and useful the selection is for Christmas and holiday themed items for the classroom through Oriental Trading’s website. It’s great to be able to provide creative crafts, Christmas totes, learning incentives, and educational toys for kids to celebrate the season while encouraging writing and even some international learning about different ways another country celebrates the fall season. Oriental Trading is a wonderful source for classroom materials and it’s an easy way to get kid’s even more excited about Christmas that they may not even realize they are also learning at the same time.
