Book Synopsis: If you haven’t read the children’s book, Room on the Broom, you are in for a real treat! The story entails a witch and her cat that are happily flying through the sky on a broomstick when the wind picks up and blows away the witch’s hat, then her bow, and then her wand! Uh oh! What is this witch to do? A helpful dog, bird, and frog find the witch’s lost things and they all hop on the broom for a ride. But this broomstick is not meant for five and – CRACK – the broom snaps in two! Is there room on the broom for so many friends to return home safely? And when disaster strikes, will they be able to save the witch from a hungry dragon? Join us on this wild adventure! This musical adaptation will celebrate friendship, the fall season, and the wonderful world that author Julia Donaldson has created.

As one of the first – and few remaining – examples of early and distinctive theatrical architecture, the Paramount stands as a testament to how important the venue is to the community and the cultural landscape that makes Austin unique. Once you’re here, you can’t help but feel you’ve entered a special place that wraps itself around you, making you feel welcome, timeless and inclusive, both with other members of the audience and the performance itself.
