The world’s first functional concentrate. Single-use, liquid supplements you add to any beverage! 6 formulations: ENERGY, FOCUS, SUN, CALM, WELL & MOOD
Let’s call it my ‘never-ending quest to be calm’, I am constantly finding ways to de-stress. Yoga, running, meditating, supplements, you name it; I have probably tried it. I am hyper and my mind is always going so it can be easy for me to get distracted. I read about wojoCALM which is an all-natural non-drowsy supplement that comes in small liquid vials to stir into your beverage that is supposed to ‘still the storm naturally from within’. Perfect.
What’s the main ingredients of wojoCALM? Ginseng and L-Theanine.
Ginseng – I was, at first, a little surprised that the wojoCALM contained ginseng. This popular medicinal root is known to boost energy and lower blood sugar. However, this combination is also supposed to give a person a sense of well-being. As one of the most popular herbal medicines on the market, it now made sense why wojoCALM would include it as an ingredient.
L-Theanine – L-Theanine is an amino acid derived from tea leaves. It is a constitute of green tea. This is where the ‘calm’ really comes in. L-theanine is said to help relieve stress by inducing a relaxing effect without drowsiness and may also possess immunologic attributes.
I figured the biggest test for wojoCALM was on the day I had a dental appointment. If you are a follower of my blog, you will know, I hate the dentist. I mean, I don’t think anyone likes to get their teeth drilled so I’m not alone, but I absolutely detest going. Each and every time I have to psych myself up (or in my case ‘down’) to go and I do keep my regular appointments and smile off my nerves for my kids when they have appointments. On the morning before I had to go for a drilling, I decided to take the wojo challenge and slipped a vial into my morning coffee.
This was my reaction that morning.
Oh, I’m so tired. I need my coffee. Opening wojo vial and taking a sniff. Ugh. Medicine smell. Putting it into my coffee. Taking a sip. OK, I don’t taste it at all. Naturally, it was my favorite bold morning blend, so maybe the strong taste masked the flavor, but nevertheless, it tasted like any normal cup of coffee. Then, I wait for the calm to engulf me!
I am not sure if it is mind over matter like a placebo effect, but I did actually feel calm. It wasn’t an all-encompassing overpowering feeling, but I felt OK about going to the dentist when it was time to go! No deep breaths necessary. That is pretty huge for me. If it was the wojoCALM, I will take it. It’s simple to use, easy to mask the taste and if this formulation really did help me ‘unwind with soothing ease’ as I felt it did from just from one vial, I will definitely use it again. So, if you are also looking for a way to calm your nerves through herbal medicine, check out wojo and their five other formulations for well-being.
