I find it cute and amusing that when I tell my daughter a little factoid she has never heard, she nods her head and scrunches up her brow and usually says a very interested ‘Oh!’. She is such a little adult that I have to remind myself she is, in fact, still a young child and has lots of things to learn. I can’t just tell her to ‘take care of the Earth’ and expect her to know what I’m talking about! She needs specifics and guidance on how to keep her environment clean and what better way to do that than through example? Well, a ten easy step guide for kids doesn’t hurt either!

These are simple everyday things that we can all do to make the Earth a little greener and it is done in a way that is exciting for kids. The illustrations are really cute and I like how the book has a rhyming scheme. If only all learning was this fun we may have an entire generation of Einsteins on our hands!
