My mom always used unique and low impact wrapping on gifts. Sometimes you would see gifts wrapped in the Sunday ‘funnies’ or paper bags from the grocery store. If she was being fancy you might get something in a gift bag. But, look out, that was never your gift bag – she would take it back if you let her. She would save it for the next round.
