This may be a little hard to believe, but this is an absolutely true story of Bill Bowerman, co-founder of Nike, who created the Waffle-Sole for the shoe company that was inspired by – what else – a waffle iron! This is truly innovation and creativity at its finest and a wonderful children’s book as told from the perspective of the waffle iron muse, Wendy. What a great lesson that when ingenuity meets timing, great things have a potential to happen.
