Rowdy loves his Grandpa Buck, in fact, he thinks he is the best grandpa in the entire Slumber Village.  Grandpa Bucks takes him fishing, they play checkers and they even play hide and seek.  It wasn’t until Rowdy’s friend, Jinx, tells him that her grandfather was the best in all of Slumber Village that Rowdy began to question whether or not his grandfather was as great as he thought.  Why, Jinx’s said that her grandpa was an astronaut, an Eagle Scout and even wrestled a bear and won!  Rowdy know his grandpa, who liked to nap often and take slow walks, couldn’t possibly wrestle a bear and he was sad thinking that Jinx might be right.

The next day, Grandpa Buck came over to play with Rowdy and he helped him build a tree house.  They also took a nice long walk down to the ice cream stand for chocolate swirl cones.  Grandpa Buck gave Rowdy a huge hug before he tucked him in to bed and told his grandson that he was his best friend.  Rowdy decided that was his best day ever.  Rowdy decided he didn’t care if his grandfather was not an inventor or an astronaut.  In fact, Rowdy decided that his Grandpa Buck was not only the best grandpa in Slumber Village; he was the best grandfather in the entire world.  Awww!
