While I spend a lot of time reading books geared towards my first grader, I also always have a collection of reading materials geared towards toddlers and preschoolers for my youngest.  Brie LOVES to read and she is a fast mimic and reads most of her books from memory.  It’s always exciting to get a new book for her to read and learn and she is especially fascinated by the Five Little Elves because she has learned to count to 20 so counting the elves is fun for her.  She is quite taken with these little green mysterious creatures in the illustrations!  In Five Little Elves, celebrate the season with your little ones with Santa’s little helpers who do the work of those twice their size.  These elves pack Santa’s BIG red sleigh full of brightly wrapped presents after spending all their time making toys for all the good boys and girls from all over the world.  Brie is starting to learn the sing-song classic holiday rhyme of the elves chants and since we are really into celebrating Christmas, this has become her new favorite book. With Dan Yaccarino’s vibrant and bold illustrations, this sturdy board book is sure to captivate young readers with its Christmas cheer.  Yay!
