Catch Air Round Rock Celebrates Their Grand Opening On November 30th! (Local Austin, Texas)

Catch Air is a safe, clean, and fun indoor play place designed for younger children ages 0-12 with specific areas for babies and toddlers along with huge playscapes, a light up dance floor, 5 unique slides and much more.

The wait is over! Catch Air is opening their second Austin-area location for their indoor children’s play place in Round Rock this month. I have learned that all indoor playscapes are not considered equal and having two kids ages six and three means I gravitate towards indoor play places where they have equal opportunity for fun, entertainment, and exercise. When the weather in Austin creeps up to over 3 digits or when you have a weekend that is pouring down rain, Bob and I love to go to indoor play places because it gets the girls’ wiggles out and it’s a great option for parents like us that like to create a weekend of sanity! I was excited that our family was able to attend a soft opening to Catch Air Round Rock before the official ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 30 and we were all impressed by the thoughtful layout and plenty of activities for Brie and Brooke. We definitely plan to be back soon.

Catch Air will officially celebrate their second Austin area location in Round Rock with a ribbon-cutting celebration and all day party on Wednesday, November 30^th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Round Rock Chamber of Commerce will be performing the ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. along with fun programming, including face painting, balloon twisting, cartoon mascots, kid-friendly music, giveaways, and more! Catch Air Round Rock will be opening to the public for a soft opening starting on Saturday, November 19^th through Tuesday, November 29^th.

“We’ve had such an overwhelming amount of support and love for Catch Air Anderson Mill so it was obvious to us that our second Texas location would be in Round Rock,” said Trey Ikard, Managing Partner of Indoor Play, LLC, owner/operator for all Catch Air Texas locations. “Guests can expect the same fun, safe, and clean environment as our first location but it will be bigger in size and with a new outer space theme. As the father of a young daughter, I’m happy to be able to open a place where young children can learn and grow in a space that is specifically designed for kids 12 and under.”

This location has an outer space theme inside the 15,000 square foot space with giant playscapes, three-story obstacle courses, light-up dance floors, five different slides, 1,400 square feet area for toddlers (3 and under), three private party rooms, large touchscreen TV’s with educational video games, an out of this world “Black Hole” optical illusion screen, and so much more for the ultimate outer space experience! It’s fun, it’s loud, it’s entertaining for the whole family and I have to say this is the most impressive indoor play place we’ve been to in the Austin area.

New check-in waiver system for quicker entry with ability to fill out waiver via mobile device or online, which is good for one year. Guests will be able to just provide their phone number or waiver-pass to enter the facility.
