Nowali moccasins, everyone’s favorite sock-and-a-shoe celebrated their 60th year in 2010! Since 1950, generations of kids (and grown-ups, too) have loved the comfortable fit and combination of funky and classic designs.
Nowali moccasins began production in Sweden in 1950 in a small familly farm in central Sweden and became the biggest manufacturer of moccasins in 1960 and soon began to export to Europe and the United States. They are still proudly knitted by hand in Sweden and located throughout the world. While this company has grown a lot in the last 60 years, the products are still true to its roots. The moccasins are practical and comfortable footwear and have a very unique look.
The Nowali company is committed to making top quality sustainable products and uses Oko-Tex 100 certified yarns that contain no potentially toxic chemicals or dyes. Nowali is maintained by Nowali, Inc. (USA) and sold through companies like My Konfetti that have the Nowali seal of approval.
The moccasions are adorable and can be machine washed on warm and must be air dried. The no-slip soles make it perfect for beginning walkers and sizes range from age 3 months to age 8. Brie loves her Owl Be Good moccasins and would wear them everywhere is she could!
The iconic Swedish Moccasin is everyone’s favorite sock-in-a-shoe. Swedish moccasins come in lots of classic knits and exciting patterns. They offer something for everyone, from Nowali’s classic cable knit to trendy patterns like flaming guitars and edgy dragons. Swedish moccasins are perfect indoor footwear for young children who enjoy running around on hardwood and tile floors. The no slip sole gives traction where needed, but is soft and flexible (so foot arches and muscles develop naturally, just like pediatricians recommend). Ten toes up!
