My family and I love counting down the days until Christmas! Growing up my family tracked the days until Christmas by taping construction strips into circles and connecting the loops. We taped the 25 red and green line of loops onto one of the doorways. Then for 24 days we would unhook the bottom loop each morning until one remained – and then it was Christmas eve! Now, I enjoy getting a fun Advent Calendar each year with special fun surprises that my kiddos get to enjoy each day. It has become a wonderful family tradition each year.
