I dub this the season of the pumpkin. Oh sure, we already know pumpkins are associated with Halloween and Thanksgiving, but the smell of spicy pumpkin should be considered the scent of the season. With top notes of sweet, creamy pumpkin pie mixed with an underlying rich vanilla caramel and hints of spice, pumpkin is my new favorite fall smell and I plan to surround myself and my family with it in my house this season. I’m kicking off my first pumpkin scent review with a delicious shampoo called Pumpkin Chai Restorative Shampoo by Good Earth Beauty.

Pumpkin Chai Restorative Shampoo is an all natural and organic shampoo for normal to dry hair. This creamy formula has oils and anti-oxidants that cleanse the hair without stripping the natural oils. It nourishes dry and damaged hair and your locks feel fresh and bouncy. The best part? The lovely pumpkin smell! Perfect for the Thanksgiving season, this shampoo has notes of Cinnamon, Cardamom and Nutmeg. Yes, it smells good enough to eat, but I don’t recommend that! This shampoo is handmade right here in the USA (Jericho, New York to be exact) and is made in collaboration with Mod Perfumery. As with all Good Earth Beauty products, it is free of parabens, pesticides, petroleum, propylene glycol, phthalates, sulfates and artificial colors. YUM!
