The Berenstain Bears: When I Grow Up (Paperback)

The Berenstain Bears celebrate Career Day in When I Grow Up, a brand new 8×8 storybook addition to the classic New York Times bestselling series.

What’s the one question that kids get bombarded with during their childhood?  I think it is, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”  My oldest daughter has said a librarian, being in the military (like her dad), working with animals and being a momma.  I imagine she will be changing her mind a million times before she enters college and some people are still struggling to find the right career path for them even as adults.  That’s why I LOVE the newest Berenstain Bears book called “When I Grow Up” because it gives kids ideas of all the exciting things they can do as a profession.

The book begins after an exciting presentation at school but it makes Sister realize that she isn’t really sure what she wants to be when she grows up. But then, a friend of the Berenstains, Professor Actual Factual, takes Sister and Brother Bear on a special Bear Country job tour.  Sister had no idea how many careers were out there to pick.  What an adventure.  Whether firefighter or artist, farmer or astronaut, there is sure to be a career to capture Sister’s (and your child’s) imagination!

“So many different jobs to be done – Just choose the right one and work can be fun!”

Hungry for more Berenstain Bears books?  HarperCollins Children’s has recently come out with a new I Can Read (Beginning Level 1) book about the Berenstain Bears called “The Berenstain Bears are Superbears”!  Check it out here.
