Podz Sunglasses Collection

Three great styles and three different colors in this line of Designer Podz Sunglasses.

Sunglasses are more than just a fashion accessory, they protect your eyes from things like UV rays, debris, glare and eyestrain.  Considering that I am already half-blind (thank you vision contact lenses of power -4.0 that properly hydrate), I need to protect what vision I have, corrected or not.  Also, yay again, I have light blue eyes and in terms of light sensitivity, called photophobia, light-colored eyes, are supposed to be more susceptible to the harmful effects of the sun.  Make note!

Thanks to all those lovely online eyeglass websites, I was able to determine that I have the unfortunate small but ‘square’ shaped face.  AKA My face is defined by a “strong, prominent jaw line”, “square chin” and “broad forehead”.  Sounds awesome, right?!  I have to admit I’m in some good company; Angelina Jolie and Olivia Wilde are supposedly in that same square head category, but it is really hard to find sunglasses that work for me.  Apparently, the thing that works for us ‘squares’ is a contrasting glasses shape like oval, round or even (gasp!) cat-eye glasses.  Say what?!  Also, “a frame that is wider than the widest part of the face helps to balance the proportion of a square face.”  So, I’m no expert, and decided to try a few out for myself with the quite awesome and reasonably priced sunglasses from Podz.

The three main categories of the Podz Sunglasses shapes are Miami, Hollywood and Sierra.  Now, right off the bat, I will tell you that the Miami glasses were too large for my tiny square face, but that’s the beauty of learning what works for you.  Just use one of those online resources to take your picture and viola! instant face shape recognition (which, besides square is oval, oblong, triangle, heart-shaped or round)!  Besides the Miami, the rest of the styles in the collection looked great on my ‘angular’ face and I am especially excited about the Sierra pair.  In fact, I decided, and lucky you!, to model the pairs.
