When I first saw this book, I thought of the maddening question, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” I always thought the secret answer was really chicken, but you could argue that answer for hours. The My Little Book of Life Cycles by QED Publishing has wonderful photographs about many different stages of different life cycles (from a tree to a sea horse!) for kids. This has been a fascinating subject for Brooke since we first read her the Very Hungry Caterpillar book a few years ago and this is a more mature version for slightly older kids (the book recommends this book for kids as young as kindergarten.) This little book sure packs in a lot of pictures, interesting facts and great information for children on many different species. I even re-learned some interesting facts that I had forgotten years ago! Great read for parents and kids.
