Baby Brie is petite.  Very petite.  Going to her pedi for those horrid weight checks petite.  Clothing based on her age and not her body type fall off of her.  Pants are the worst and unless it’s leggings, I have started to stay away from them.  I’m not a seamstress and I don’t have a big clothing budget for the girls, so I have to do a lot of searching.  Brie has become a frequent and reluctant child model to make sure pre-purchases fit.  It’s not a perfect science and sometimes clothes look like they swallow her which is why I am always open to suggestions.

Tim and Anna also had a problem finding clothing for their young son, who they say is ‘very short and chubby’.  Unlike me, they have the talent and ability to create their own modern heirloom baby clothing made to fit children from the very petite to those with an overabundance of lovely baby fat.  Their business is called Brooke’s Treehouse and I happen to love that name considering our oldest daughter is named Brooke!

Tim and Anna’s shop has beautiful clothing that feels tailored to your child (Anna wants input for the clothes you purchase, such as knowing if your child has a small build, etc.) yet with a great price.  I love that the clothing is cute but also sensible and easy to layer for winter or strip down for summer.  Our favorite is the Morocco Gathered Dress that fits petite Brie perfectly and it is simple for upkeep since it is 100% cotton and machine washable.

If you are like my family, we need to stretch the lifespan of our clothes.  Brooke’s Treehouse clothing is meant to grow with your baby and you can purchase accessories like their Cotton Pants that can warm up the dress for the Autumn/Winter or Bloomers for the summer.  This dress is also easy to layer with an undershirt or long sleeve onesies and pants.

Yes, it Fits!

It is difficult to be on a constant roller coaster of food intake versus weight gain with your child, so it is so nice to have one less thing, like finding a cute outfit that fits Brie, to worry about.  Thank you, Tim and Anna!
