It’s the year of Egypt! Well, for Brie’s birthday country – which means we have spent a lot of time learning about Ancient Egypt and all the fun things that it entails. We are all becoming quite the Egyptologists and I wanted to continue inspiring our clan with this adorable Egyptian queen plush doll by Merry Makers, Inc. that is safe for all ages.
We love Merry Makers, Inc. products since they are educational toys based on children’s books and I was really happy that they have an Egyptian queen and king doll that goes perfectly with our 2015 theme. I find toys offer a great way to talk to kids about subjects and have been able to include our new ‘queen’ during all of our Egypt activities.

Learned about ancient tales of Egyptian gods and pharaohs,
Watched videos of modern day Egypt including this fun video of Families around the country.
We have even gotten into the spirit of dress up and like to sport our Egyptian costumes from time to time. This will all lead up to Brie’s birthday where we will make Egyptian food, play Egyptian games and decorate our house with all things Ancient Egypt. And, yes, Mysteries of Egypt Queen Doll by Merry Makers will be joining us for all the fun. I hope the queen will be a fun memento for the kids and they can look back on our Egyptian year with lots of fond memories. I know that I will!
