Palén Design Mom and Daughter Jewelry

Designer and mom, Hannah Ha, founded Palén Design in 2003 and her jewelry has expanded and carried in over 60 boutiques across the U.S., Canada, Korea, and Japan!

I recently am learning the importance of taking care of myself in more ways than just eating, dressing and making sure I take showers! Motherhood and the ever-expanding needs of my girls on top of being a good spouse had started to make me slack off in areas like fashion and fitness. I’ve had a wake-up call, thanks to my oldest daughter, and on top of getting my health and diet back in order, I am concentrating on looking my best. Boy, what a difference it has made and I’m excited to allow you to have a sneak peek in some of my favorite items that have made me feel like I am much more than a mom. I am, and always have been, a person with lots of different aspects and I’m taking on the fashion world!

I am not a huge jewelry person but I do like very delicate designs and necklaces that I am proud to wear. I am really excited to tell you about Hannah Ha and her Palén Design company. First, the name of her company is derived from the word ‘palindrome’. You know, a word that reads the name backwards or forwards like Bob, mom, wow and HANNAH. The name also symbolizes the balance of flow of each of her designs and, considering I am trying to balance a lot of things in my own life now, the meaning of the jewelry gives her pieces even more importance to me.

I also love that Hannah is a mom to two beautiful children and she has started a line just for girls called Palén Princess. Like her women’s jewelry, all items are hand-made and very much the ‘fancy’ look my oldest daughter Brooke has to wear. In fact, Hannah was inspired to do the line after relocating back to South Korea (she has since moved to Bristol) after the birth of her daughter and getting excited about a culture that likes to celebrate all things girly. Hey, I’m finally starting to catch up on that very notion!

Hannah’s delicate yet-eye popping designs have made me feel so elegant and our girls look so adorable. I may not be walking on red carpets, but I like to think that every mom and girl deserves to feel beautiful and Palén Design definitely makes me feel ‘dainty’. Who would have thought?

I am not the only one who is noticing Hannah’s designs. She has been featured in a variety of magazines such as Lucky Magazine, Chicago Magazine, Audrey Magazine, Modern Bride, Ok!
