Let’s be honest, there really is not a lot of toys you can play with a newborn. My younger daughter is just a few weeks old and her version of fun is staring at the pictures in our living room or our face and smiling. However, there is a toy that she and my older daughter played with together during her tummy time that really surprised me and made me happy. The NogginStik is just that toy and I agree that they are baby’s first developmental toy!
NogginStik Developmental Light-up Rattle is a learning rattle that lights up with three different colors when you shake it and it makes a noise. It also includes a mirror on the bottom of the rattle. My older daughter loves to play with ‘Baby Brie’ with this rattle and loves that she grabs it and follows it with her eyes when she shakes and moves it around. It allows her to have interactions with the baby she normally would not be able to do until the baby is older. I also love it because it is strengthening the baby’s muscles and having that interaction during tummy time is a plus for both of them. This is really the Rolls Royce of Rattles and I am glad I took a chance on this one!
