I was always the shortest in my class and also skinny so lots of regular pants in the store did not fit me. It wasn’t until high school I shot up several inches to a somewhat average 5 foot 4 inches (okay, barely…) that it made pants shopping even more difficult since I am almost too tall for petites and too short for regular pants. It’s maddening! Yeah, I guess I could learn how to hem (*laughing silently under my breath*) but I somehow see that as a disaster. My petite daughter has the same issue. Skinny but wearing her actual age size now (she was a preemie so she was behind until age two) her pants are way below her ankles. Unless tight rolling comes back in the near future, we’ve done loose rolls so she won’t fall down or just stick to stretchy tights. That is genius!!! I have those kiddos that wear pants two sizes smaller then their shirts because their heights are in their torsos. This would be great when they want 2 piece outfits.
