I had the pleasure of reviewing a Wear Your Music recycled string bracelet in September and when looking at stocking stuffers for the holidays, I think they have the perfect item in their catalog. First, a little bit about Wear Your Music. This organization recycles picks and guitar strings into beautiful jewelry but the real catch is you also have an option of purchasing items that were donated by well-known artists! Wow! Of course, if you get an item for a well-known artist, you will be paying for it, but I am just as enamored by other cool recycled string products from unknown artists!
The Guitar String Ring Trio makes an awesome stocking stuffer for your budding musician. The trios contains three guitar string rings in the colors of silver black and red and are hand wound from real guitar strings. They come in colors silver, black and red so they are easily paired with outfits. Each ring is hand-crafted and a one-of-a-kind piece from used guitar strings and made of the mixed metals but that are lead, cadmium and nickel-free. The red and black strings are electroplated and should be worn without touching other jewelry so their colors will not fade. Check out more information here. How eco-friendly to recycle strings but they are also beautiful. Oh, okay, they are rock and roll! I love this idea for kids who play or just love music.

So I made the mistake of checking out the bracelets and I clearly ned to win the lottery soon to get all of the one’s I want. Sadly, they are sold out of Willie Nelson’s bracelets. That would have been top on my holiday wishlist. Soooooo cool. I never knew these existed.
I know! I would love to get the celebrity strings, but will settle for the ‘unknowns’. HA HA.
I seriously would have had to consider begging hubby for the Willie bracelet for Christmas if it were still there. Some pretty cool things, for certain sure.
