Bamboo-derived baby boots? Oh, tell me more! Guava Kids was the brainchild of two friends who met in high school and reconnected after becoming moms. Dissatisfied with other products on the market for their four children, Lili and Linsey decided to take matters into their own hands to come up with functional, eco- & education-consciousness clothing styles for children. Currently this shop is stocked with awesome baby mitts and their new line of baby boots but be on the lookout since I imagine their product line will continue to grow!
Guava Kids came up with a way to make a 70% viscose bamboo blend and 30% organic cotton boot which is a comfortable and soft product for baby’s sensitive feet. Not only that, they have an interesting concept of a two part closure (same as on their baby mitts) so baby cannot easily kick them off. It is very simple to put on and keeps the boots in place! Nice! Even better? The boots are machine washable (cold water only, please) and can tumble dry on low. Be sure to check out the rest of their colors and designs available on their site.

These are adorable. My son is just passed the weight limit now, but I had him in Feb. and would of loved to have a pair of booties that he could not kick off. I will tell my friends who have newborns about these though. Very great concept!
