These days an American company celebrating their forty years of successful service is something to celebrate. Hofcraft, a Grand Haven, Michigan company, has been in the business of art since 1973 and, of course, their paint-by-numbers set is what caught my eye! As Hofcraft states on their website, this is a great activity for all ages including beginners with a great selection for every artist. The My First Painting by Number Gift Set has six different numbered drawings that are nicely backed by art boards. The set includes acrylics paints in re-sealable paint pots with a brush and instructions. It really is as easy as painting the accompanying color to the set number to create a beautiful and colorful picture. This is a lovely animal set, which of course my daughter loved and the paints are non-toxic, completely safe and easy to clean-up with water. Trust me on that one!
