My husband requested we get the newest Caspar Babypants CD for Brooke. Yup. He sure did. He may have been a Smiths boy (if you don’t get that reference, you were not a preteen or teen in the 80s) at one time, but he now loves to dance around and do the Sugar Ants dance with our little girl. It warms my heart. We still listen to his last album Hot Dog! every day and we each have a new favorite song: ‘Sugar Ants’ (Brooke), ‘Summer Baby’ (Me) and ‘A Thousand Tiny Donuts’ (Bob). Kids are encouraged to stay up, play, dance around and even grow up. The core of the new album, I Found You!, is upbeat and fun and that is why it is so much fun to dance to as a family. This album is sweet, poppy and still musically solid. It screams ‘feel good’ and I know that’s exactly the kind of music I want Brooke to hear.
