Product Review: The Night Santa Got Lost: How NORAD Saved Christmas [Hardcover] (Age 4+)

NORAD’s Skills and Resources are Put to the Test as they Scramble to Find Santa and Save Christmas!

NORAD stands for the North American Aerospace Defense Command between the US and Canada to defend our airspace for the two countries and is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Beginning in 1955, when a local department store in Colorado misprinted the phone number for Santa, an organization was set up under the Air Defense Command for NORAD that tracks Santa on this (close your ears kids) mythical journey around the world.  How sweet!  It is fitting that the children’s author, Michael Keane, is a Fellow of National Security at the Pacific Council on International Policy who decided to write this fascinating book on Santa’s tracking around the globe.  Will Santa find his way to give his presents to all the good little boys and girls with the help of NORAD?  You will have to read this book to find out!  Endearing, sweet and educational, this is a fantastic book for the holiday season.  Two thumbs up!

NORAD Tracks Santa!  Starting on December 1st, you and your family can start checking Santa’s track around the world through NORAD Tracks Santa Site here!
