Two paws up for Tumford! I read A LOT of children’s books to Brooke and this one is really special. It really captured Brooke’s preschool status on not really understanding appropriate versus inappropriate behavior as she is still learning how things work. Meet Tumford the cat who thinks burping, farting, breaking balloons and making loud noises to be…well, hilarious! And sure, they ARE hilarious – in certain groups. Tumford is having a hard time learning that not all attention is good attention and he does really mean well (I mean, just LOOK at that sweet little face). If you have a young child, this is a must read. They will think it’s hilarious and relate to getting in trouble for doing things they may not realize are wrong. The best part of the story, Tumford always knows he is loved even when he has to learn an important lesson of behavior.

LOL! Believe me I felt that way, too. There is another really good book that somewhat broaches the subject, but not as directly (or as funny..Tumford is just so cute) as this one. We can IM later if you want to know about another good read.
