Product Review:  Cardboard Adventures™ Knight (Age 4+)

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” -George Bernard Shaw

Are you looking for a unique and partially home-made Halloween costume for your child?  How about one you can recycle when you are done?  Perhaps your child just loves to dress up in hero’s costumes and have fun pretending to be a knight.  Whatever the occasion, the Cardboard Adventure Kits through the Orb Factory’s Creativity Kits are pretty amazing.  Your child becomes involved in the creative costume process of discovery, self-expression and curiosity.  While each kit has an awesome tale of its own, it was the Knight set that set itself apart.  Don’t think of this as just a boy’s costume, these cardboard adventures are enjoyed by boys and girls who want to play the brave Knight!

The Cardboard Adventures Knight Kit is for your little knight to have special armor they can design to defend their kingdom.  This kit comes with cardboard pieces that can be folded and snapped together with connectors to create a fabulous knight costume.  I am not one to follow directions and what little directions are included made it difficult to put together at times, even with Bob and Brooke’s help (ok, so she mostly just wanted to color and put on stickers….still…).  However, the end result speaks for itself.  This is definitely an impressive kit.  Little Knights can decorate their armor and weapon with stickers and markers to prepare for battle.  The Knight Kit is a unique art project that becomes a creative and function costume.  It is sure to be a hit at any Halloween party or imaginative play group.

  1. I use to have one like this when I was a child, but it was made of plastic and it was silver in color, always wanted to be someones knight in shining (plastic) armor
