Product Review: Everything is Better with a Gorilla (Everything Series) [Kindle] *Fun*
Who Wouldn’t Want to Hang with a Gorilla?
This is a silly, sweet and quirky book that isn’t exactly educational although it might be true (*shrugs shoulders*). I imagine washing dishes would be better with a gorilla! It is becoming a household favorite which started with our daughter’s recent obsession with monkeys and gorillas. She repeatedly likes to recite ‘Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed’ and thinks it is hilarious to say it when she is doing something she just knows she shouldn’t. And, yes, I realize there are many differences between monkeys and gorillas, but a preschooler just sees this type of primate as a bigger monkey, so with a few explanations, we just go with it. We like to read this book and laugh together. It’s fun and lighthearted and if you have a child who loves animals and comedy, then this is a great book.
