This sweet and simple nature book by Dawn Publications is a wonderful bedtime book for young children who are nature lovers. Children will delight in hearing about different baby animals getting tucked in at night and being loved and cared for by their parents. I love the little lines like, ‘If you were my baby bat, I would soar with you below the stars and hold you close when the night’s flying is done’. How cute is that? What child wouldn’t want to drift off to sleep feeling safe and secure and If You were My Baby does a wonderful job giving children a warm blanket of protection. Plus, the illustrations by Laura Bryant are as lovely as all of Dawn Publication nature books. Breathtaking.
