The Magic School Bus: The Complete Series just came out with the entire 52 episodes on DVD which comes in an 8 pack DVD collection. I love that these DVDs, which were originally aired from 1994-1998, advocates parental involvement and active learning through discovery and related activities on science. There is a wide variety of scientific topics included; erosion, stars, cells, friction, ecosystems, microbes, muscle oxygenation, to name a few. It’s a great overview of these topics that are perfect for discussion after each episode and with ideas of how kids and parents can look more deeply in a topic of interest.
