It truly baffles me when parents don’t say when they are proud of their children…or anyone for that matter.  Perhaps you struggle with words and feelings.  But now you really have no excuse not to express your feelings through this thought card tin that comes in a variety of sample thoughts.  I think the most perfect cards to express to children are the ones entitled, ‘I am Proud When…..this is where you ‘fill-in-the-blank’.  Children are an extension of ourselves and should be praised for a job well done.  I promise you that the more you reflect and take the time to appreciate the things your children do, the easier it becomes to keep that communication open.  There is such a small gap of time where your child listens to what you are saying and if you are only reflecting negativity on to them then that is what you will get back.  Let’s praise our kids for doing the right things and correct them when they are doing things that are wrong.  These cards will make it easy for those who have a hard time breaking-the-ice and showing your child that you do appreciate the little things that they do.  They will appreciate the little things you do in return.
