Product Review: Cloud B Plush Aroma Pillow Sleep Aid (Ages 2+)
Helping Children Sleep
I am a firm believer in the power of aromatherapy since learning about it in conjunction with the healing power of massage through my high school friend’s mother who was a massage therapist. Massage therapists are known for combining the power of touch with the power of smell to help the body heal. I was lucky enough to be able to mess around with all kinds of my friend’s mother’s essential oils and learned about the calming power of lavender oil and clearing of the nasal passages through inhaling tea tree oil. I have also recently used multiple essential oils while doing the Montessori activity of the Smelling Jars which helps to refine your little one’s ability to discriminate odors and/or fragrances. Our sense of smell is so powerful that it can commonly invoke pleasant memories from our past, so imagine how healing scents like lavender can also help the body feel calm and relaxed at night. As a previous sufferer of childhood insomnia, I was very interested in reviewing the Cloud B Plush Aroma Pillow Sleep Aid.
The intent behind Cloud B Plush Aroma Pillow Sleep Aid is to help lull children to sleep with the help of the soft touch of a plush pillow in combination with aromatherapy with a known essential oil that supports relaxation. Plush Aroma Pillows come in five adorable animals of Sleep Sheep, Twilight Ladybug, Gentle Giraffe, Twilight Turtle or Sea Turtle. I personally reviewed the quite plushy Sleep Sheep and found it to be quite nice. The pillow includes a removable lavender scented pouch that has a removable inner pillow and soft cotton outer casing which I have pictured. While the dimensions of the pillow vary slightly depending on the animal, they are all within the Pediatrician recommendation pillow size for children ages 2 and up. The pillow is quite plush, adorable for kids and with the added lavender aromatherapy aspect of this product I found it to be worth the price of purchase for parents.
