Our games are educational, fun and made from recycled materials.
Good for Kids. Good for the Earth. Naturally Fun!

There aren’t many parents I know that aren’t fans of the nighttime children’s storybook Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd.  First published in 1947 (yes, that is 47), this book has become a children’s classic and a favorite in our house.  For those of you who have been living under a rock, the book revolves around a little bunny sweetly saying goodnight to everything in his room.  It is one of the bedtime books I have memorized and one of the few times I ever get to say the word mush on an almost daily basis.  When I learned that Briarpatch created a children’s game that could be played by toddlers based on the Goodnight Moon book, I knew Brooke would love it.

The Goodnight Moon Game can have up to 4 players and the box includes 4 double-sized playing boards, one Goodnight Moon game board and 24 matching cards.  There are six different ways to play the Goodnight Moon Game based on your child’s age.  For the youngest crowd, the game is a matching game and extends to a memory game for the older more advanced child.  If your child is a fan of the book, they will know every single area of the bunny’s room and will have fun pointing out pieces for matching and from memory.  Bravo to Briarpatch to extend the love of a classic book to a fun game for the entire family.

About Briarpatch:  Briarpatch has been creating educational games and puzzles for children for over 20 years!  John Donofrio and Martine Redman made their first game in 1992 and have maintained a high level of respect within the toy industry and have won over 300 Best Toy Awards over the last two decades.  Check out their website for a wealth of games and my favorites are the ones that are based on classic children’s books (anyone else a fan of Madeline?).  Their site also offers a product finder to narrow your search based on your child’s age and gender for a more personalized selection.
