I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before that I started collecting the Berenstain Bears books as gifts when I was a little girl. In fact, I still have my entire collection that I read periodically to the girls. To me, they are like timeless classics and it’s nice to know that Jan and Stan’s son, Mike, took over the family business after his parents’ passed. This seamless transition means more Berenstain books have been cranking out and we do our best to keep up.

If you have never read the The Berenstain Bears books (gasp!) they are quite a busy bear family. Mama, Papa, Brother, Sister, and (the newest character) baby Honey learn and grow in their home in Bear Country. The 5-Minute Berenstain Bear Stories is a remake of twelve classic Berenstain Bears tales that is perfect for bedtime. Brooke insists that we read at least three books to her before she goes to sleep and each story is a wonderful length to fill her bedtime story block. Bonus! The book is nicely made with a puffy cover and attractive foil embellishments with full-color illustrations. This is definitely a story collection to treasure and will be used as a bedtime story book for a long time to come.
