This title will be released on September 1, 2015. Available for Pre-Order!

For geography lovers, game shows like Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? and books like The Scrambled States of America are pure bliss.  Now you can add a brand new picture book for children ages 4-8 that is all about the 50 states of America and how one Boston terrier named Austin tries to find his home.  Follow Austin across America on a madcap journey in which he travels to each of the fifty states.

Austin, Lost in America: A Geography Adventure is an irresistible new geography picture book that features an adorable dog, tons of facts about all fifty states, fun maps, a list of capitals, and so much more!  Austin started out in a pet store and dreamed of finding a real home.  So he does what any dog might do – he sets off with a map and a backpack to find his real home.  He goes to Ohio, to Florida, to Oregon and so on and so on…and while his list of states he has visited keeps growing, his notion of finding one true place to call his own seems less likely.  Will he ever find the place where he truly belongs?

My oldest daughter LOVES this book that is packed with fascinating facts and doggy tidbits – some that seem almost too crazy to be true . . . but this book makes learning fun and it’s wonderful to get a front row seat on all of Austin’s adventures.  I don’t want to give away the entire ending, but considering where we live (Austin, Texas), it certainly SEEMS to be the most appropriate place for a dog with the same namesake, don’t you think?!?!  Oh yeah!
