I was so happy when Brie learned how to give hugs and kisses to my husband and I. When I ask her for a hug, she will say, “Hug! Hug!” and wrap her cute little hands around my neck and lean her head on the side of my face. It really is pure heaven. As hectic and hard as it is to be a parent, it is those little moments that make you want to dance on the rooftop and say, “Hey! This is a wonderful feeling! I love this kid!” I hope both our daughters feel that way when mom and dad give them hugs and I love having this new beautiful picture book called I Love Hugs that is all about cuddling and loving.

I Love Hugs is a sweet beginning reader book that has hugging animal photographs and fun facts for kids. Both my daughters are animal obsessed so seeing all the animals hugging was “so cute!” for Brooke. Baby Brie also got a chance to match animal noises to their picture (her newest favorite thing), and we laughed when she made her elephant sounds at the hugging elephants! This was a simple and fun read for both my girls and I and we ended up having our own snuggle/hug party as we read on Brie’s floor. I Love Hugs! Yes, I do!
