Celebrating Over 80 Years of Fun!
It’s official. We are parents to a kindergartener. We are scrambling to get used to the new schedule, having two kids at two different school and learning the ins and outs of the ever present ‘needs’ list from school. From homework assignments, to field trips, to donations (time and money), it’s almost like we have a second job. Whew! Teachers make things easier with including ‘wish lists’ for their classroom and one items caught my eye. A classroom ‘Treasure Chest’ to give small trinkets away to kids for a job well done. Well, I was, of course ALL OVER THAT. I think it’s a great way to keep children engaged in school by letting them pick out fun toys and colorful school supplies as rewards for being a good student.
