New blowout and style salon celebrates grand opening

August 6 was the celebration of the grand opening of Vent Blotique, a fresh and modern blowout and style salon designed to deliver a unique guest experience, of its 1,400 square-foot salon in Cedar Park.  I was SO excited because I have always wanted to have a blowout at a salon.  I’ve read and heard so much about getting one done and I have never had the opportunity.  I have naturally curly, frizzy hair, so to have a professional create a nice sleek and smooth look with a signature blowout technique sounds so luxurious.  I had to go check this new location out! 

Vent styles start at $25 – making a seemingly expensive service affordable and easily attainable. A stellar selection of products to keep guests enjoying their styles long after they leave the salon is available at the new store. One of the many unique features Vent Blotique offers is its Try Bar. Guests can try and purchase the hottest products and tools available all in Vent’s lovely new setting, an experience you cannot get when shopping online.

Vent Blotique is located at 1335 E. Whitestone Boulevard, Suite E 500, near Massage Envy in the 1890 Ranch Shopping Center in Cedar Park. Vent is open Monday-Thursday, 9 am – 8 pm, Friday and Saturday 8 am – 9 pm and Sunday 10 am – 6 pm. Walk-ins are welcomed or Guests can reserve an appointment time online for a quick turnaround service.  Time for me to check out what a blowout experience can be while checking out a cool new local business.  To say I was excited was definitely an overstatement!

• Signature Blowout – Classic or Sleek & Smooth, styled with round brushes
• Premium Blowout – Bombshell or Beachy, styled with hot tool techniques
• Luxury Blowout – Classic, Sleek & Smooth, Bombshell or Beachy, includes a moisturizing treatment, steamed towel and scalp massage
• Curly girl – Tailored for the naturally textured & curly girl with the option of Sleek & Smooth or Curly style
• Pin-up Style – Blowout with a soft chignon, braid or bun
• Quick Style – Signature style with freshly washed, damp or dry tresses
• Specialty style – Bring your freshly washed and dried tresses in for a fancy “updo”
• Girly Blowout – Shampoo and blowout for girls ages 6 and under.

Iliana explained the amazing-ness (yes, I realize this is not an actual word!) of products like Kenra primer and blow out spray and using Paul Mitchell Dry Lush in between blowouts.  I had no idea how simple and affordable blowouts can be, especially for people like me that really only like to mess with their hair every few days.  I learned a lot, had a wonderful time, and plan to be back soon but this time with my older daughter, Brooke, so she can experience the blow out experience for the very first time with her momma.  How fun!  Highly recommended and definitely worth the short trip to Cedar Park for all those Austinites out there!
