Wait? That chocolately-goodness I grew up putting in my milk was filled with stuff like high fructose corn syrup? Shut your lip-smacking mouth! Luckily, I have grown, so has the health consciousness of our country. I’m all for the occasion indulgences, but fake chocolate syrup isn’t one of them. I didn’t have to search far to find many inferior chocolate syrup-like products that exists in many supermarkets where we shop, but it took researching for this article to learn that the AH!LASKA Organic Chocolate Syrup is 100% dairy free, gluten and peanut-free as well as fat free. Oh, and it is made out of organic CANE syrup. No high fructose in sight! It even contains organic vanilla so no artificial flavors here! Sounds perfect, right?
I decided to try my own at-home taste test thanks to my more-than-willing kiddos and the success of AH!LASKA surpassed the other name brands we tried. Say what? Better for you and kid-approved?
