It is very easy to get caught up in snacking especially when you are on the go constantly. With two young children and two working parents, our household tends to always be moving. Nutrition is such an important factor to health and after going through gestational diabetes I had a period where I just wanted to eat what I wanted. I wanted to curb that after realizing that eating what I wanted didn’t necessarily mean eating ‘junk food’ and that I felt better when I ate healthy. Snacks have always been my weakness and I was intrigued by nutrition bars that are inspired by the Mediterranean Diet since they covered both sweet and savory, my two biggest downfalls when it comes to hunger.
