Fun, Creativity, and Visual Imagination for the Entire Family!
Leave it to Chronicle Books to turn the magic of the New York Times bestseller Press Here by Hervé Tullet into a wonderful family-friendly game for all ages. Tullet’s break-though children’s book can now be enjoyed in an entirely new dimension. If you haven’t read Press Here, it is a book where children are asked to be interactive with different colored circles on each page (press the yellow circle, etc.) so that they get to delightfully interact with their book while learning primary colors. We love this book in our household and the game proved to be even more hands-on and engaging.
Press Here: The Game teaches strategy, pattern and logic. The game works by having between two and six players (age 3+) take turns at completing color sequences of red, blue and yellow circular tokens on different game boards with two different ability levels to be played. There are 90 colored pieces in all (30 colors of each) and each player must defend their color choice placement. There are an endless amount of color sequences and players must communicate verbally about their logical choices that they make. You can be creative and there are so many different patterns and ways to play. It was a fun challenge for Bob and I to play with our almost-Kindergartner and we look forward to when her little sister can play with all of us. It is definitely a game to be enjoyed by the entire family.
