As soon as the Austin weather starts heating up, the big Texas bugs start coming out. They are everywhere! I recently discovered Neem oil and how amazing it is at detoxifying the skin and, as an antiseptic, it was used successfully as a bug repellant. Bug-a-boo bug spray by Butterbean Sunscreen is a new to us bug spray that contains 26% organic cold pressed Neem oil to keep the critters away. What is Neem oil? Neem oil is a vegetable oil that is derived from pressing the fruits and seeds of the neem (an evergreen) tree that is endemic to the Indian subcontinent. The spray is all natural and safe for the whole family. You will want to reapply the spray approximately every two hours to keep bugs at bay and make sure you shake well before use.
