I posted recently about finding out that I had a square shaped face and the glasses I was getting did not flatter me. I had no idea! I do wear contacts and glasses (at home!) and had never thought about finding a pair of glasses that worked well with my head. I had always picked dark lenses and glasses that were the ‘cheapest’ pair and I did the same with my sunglasses. “Did it really matter?” I thought. Yes, actually it does. I thought it was time that I actually picked out a pair of glasses that worked well for me and my face shape and move on to the next level of adult eyewear. I am in love with the Dharma Eyewear Co.’s glasses, which prescription glasses and polarized sunglasses can be purchased online, for a reasonable $99 and still give you the feeling that you look like a million bucks.

I took my time and looked at measurements, frame size and my face shape to find the most versatile pair for me. I even read up about different colors that flatter your eye color and skin tone and I was always surprised by what I learned. I needed to stick with color and find a pair that was slightly larger to work well for me. Apparently, I have no fashion sense, which is why it was so helpful to have a lot of assistance in picking out the perfect frames. After careful consideration, I chose the stylish pair of Tara (meaning “star” in Hindi) glasses to help accent my face. The bright yellow-orange summer color works well for me and I feel very special when I have them on. I am proud to say I haven’t misplaced or damaged my pair to date and I made a promise to myself to take care of these sunglasses because I took the time to make sure they worked for me this time.
