BuddhiBox Yoga Lifestyle Subscription Box
Your yoga is not just the postures, your yoga is a a mindful living lifestyle.
You may have noticed that I started doing a certain number of reviews for parents. In fact, I have done several Fashion and Fitness for Moms posts over the last several months and it is intentional. I realized that I had started drifting into an ‘all-kid’ frame of mind and forgot that I also needed to focus on myself. In a way to enhance my own life, I started to take back some of my time for ME. It was hard as a parent for me to separate myself as a ‘Momma’, but it is also very important that parents make time for themselves and their other important relationships they have in their lives. While I love spending most of my free time with my kiddos, I also like spending time with myself and doing healthy activities like yoga. BuddhiBox is a monthly lifestyle subscription box for us yogis to help our focus on our practice and it was another great reminder that there is a whole other life outside of my immediate family that needed attention, too.
The BuddhiBox Yoga Lifestyle Subscription Box will arrive at your door a few days after the 10th of each month and has 4-6 full style products for yogis. The box is made with the intent of Saucha (or pure living) and follows ethical and conscious standards of production. Many of the items that are featured are organic and vegetarian so it is a wonderful box for yogis. The June box couldn’t get here fast enough and I’m excited to tell you what was included in the box. Oh, and be sure to follow BuddhiBox on Spotify to get some great yoga playlists for practice!
The BuddhiBox June Subscription Box included;
- Real Beauty For a Cause Bath Bomb – Real Beauty’s bath bombs are made without any chemicals and smell like geranium. Mmmm. All products are handmade in small batches by women who are working to gain economic independence and break the cycle of poverty.
- Real Beauty for a Cause Detox Mask and Peppermint Toner – Buddhibox included a two-part beauty treatment from Real Beauty. You use the toner tab by putting it in a bowl of warm water, letting it dissolve and putting your face over the bowl with a towel over your head to steam open pores. You then mix the water with the dry clay detox mask and leave on your face for a full 20 minutes to wash away impurities. Heaven! All products are handmade in small batches by women who are working to gain economic independence and break the cycle of poverty.
- Indo Love Namaste Bracelet – Indo Love makes hand-stamped inspirational hand cuffs and the Buddhibox’s bracelet was aluminum silver with the word “Namaste” (meaning, “I bow to the divine in you”). Cuffs can be made out of aluminum silver, brass or copper. They make meaningful gifts and promote good vibes and smiles.
- Vigilant Eats Superfood Cereals – Vigilant Eats Superfood Cereals are gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO kosher cereal. Buddhibox sent two of the cereals in Rosemary Thyme Sweet Potato and Coconut Maple Vanilla. They were delicious and packed with high nutritional content.
- Foursee Apparel Yoga Tote Bag – I love getting new tote bags and this one had a fun sugarskull picture on it as the “O” in the printed word “YOGA”. Cute!
Each box includes an inspirational quote, a healthy recipe (June is Chinese Orange Cauliflower) and a yoga card (this month was the Cobra pose) with some tips and pose benefits. The box also included a 30 day pass to Grokker which include online premium yoga content and a download of Kalika Fortin Music’s new album called “Flowers for Kali”. This was a wonderful box that gave me some great ways to pamper myself, find inspiration and enhance my practice of yoga. What a wonderful gift for yogis! Namaste.
Charity of the Month! Proceeds from boxes sold are donated to a different charity each month. Check the BuddhiBox website to see which charity is featured this month.
